Sheffield, UK, October 30th, 2025 - Claymatic Games is thrilled to announce that Platypus Reclayed, the definitive reimagining of the cult classic clay-animated shmup, has received a new update adding a host of new content on all platforms. The game now features an additional easier difficulty, game rebalancing, and quality of life improvements, allowing players of all ages and abilities to complete the game.
Steam users will get a special treat this Friday the Halloweenth (i.e. October 31st), with all new spooky themed content to ring in the holiday. This update will also include 7 additional music tracks including the fan requested Ocean Loader 4 and Steam trading cards, as well as official Steam Workshop and Modding support, featuring the addition of Lua scripting. Other additions include customisable music, new high score tables, as well as many tweaks and improvements. This free DLC and other updates will arrive on consoles later this year.
In homage to the community, the latest update also contains extensive fan art in the ever-expanding Gallery section of the game, as well as pictures from the Platypus Reclayed exhibition at the UK's National Videogame Museum.
