Mixed Reality game Laser Dance Early Access launches November 6th


Thomas Van Bouwel (creator of the critically acclaimed VR game Cubism) and indie publisher Creature (THRASHER, Maestro, Prison Boss Prohibition) announced that Laser Dance, the Mixed Reality game that turns your living room (or any room!) into a laser obstacle course, is launching into Early Access on Meta Quest on November 6th.

About Laser Dance

A level in Laser Dance consists of a sequence of laser patterns, which adapt to your living room size and layout. Players move between two buttons on opposite ends of the room, and dance, dodge, and crawl their way to the finish line with each button press. Easy to learn but hard to master - Laser Dance's deceptively simple gameplay makes for a perfect party game to get newcomers and seasoned VR players moving in mixed reality!

What's in early access?

Laser Dance is launching with 18 levels across three stages. Each stage introduces a new type of laser, adding a new twist to how you approach its levels.
 

Players can also unlock challenges as they progress through the game, which act as modifiers that will have you play old levels in new ways.

Thomas Van Bouwel is a former architect turned XR developer based in Brussels, Belgium. He previously released a VR puzzle game called "Cubism", which received critical acclaim for its accessible design, user interface, and use of hand tracking. He is currently working on his next title, Laser Dance, which is a mixed reality game that turns any living room into a laser obstacle course.
