Ratatan Celebrates 100,000 Sales with New Update
Major Update Scheduled for October 30th (Thursday) at 12:00 PM JST
Thursday, 23rd October, 2025: Developed by Ratata Arts and published by Game Source Entertainment, the Rhythm × Roguelike action game Ratatan has surpassed cumulative sales of 100,000 copies during its Steam Early Access period!
Since its Early Access launch on 19th September, 2025 Ratatan has received high praise and enthusiastic responses from players all over the world due to its unique gameplay that combines rhythm and combat, as well as its vibrant characters.
Major Update Scheduled for October 30 (Thursday) at 12:00 PM JST!
The October update will follow the previously announced roadmap introducing highly anticipated special skills exclusive to playable Ratatan characters, along with various new elements and improvements.
Update Content:
- SUPER FEVER Skill
Each Ratatan will introduce unique special skills. These skills will require accumulating FEVER points to use, emphasizing the concept of multiplayer cooperation.
- Customizable Accessories
Players can freely customize their favorite Cobuns with accessories like ribbons and hats to change their appearance.
- New Random Events (Treasure Chest Rooms)
Opportunities to find treasures will appear during adventures. Defeating stronger enemies can yield treasures, potentially resulting in substantial rewards.
- Random Matching Improvements
Improvements will allow players to see created sessions more easily, providing a more comfortable multiplayer experience as part of gradual enhancements.
- Ratakaruta: New Reroll Function
Expands card selection freedom and increases strategic options.
- Various Balance Adjustments and Bug Fixes
Regarding the Future
We will continue to make improvements and updates based on everyone's feedback.
