EPIC NPC MAN'S HILARIOUS PIXEL ADVENTURE BRINGS ANOTHER NICE DAY FOR FISHING, ADDING FEROCIOUS ENEMIES AND MORE IN SECOND FREE UPDATE

Discover new epic enemy fish and explore in style with new sails for your boat in the next free update to FusionPlay and Viva La Dirt League's indie adventure, today on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

Thursday, 23rd October 2025Team17 Digital and FusionPlay have today released the second free update for the hilarious pixel fishing adventure Nice Day for Fishing. In addition to fast travel portals, which arrived in the game's first update earlier in the year, Nice Day for Fishing's second update adds Elite enemies, which offer even the master angler a worthy challenge. Bigger and meaner, the Elite enemies present new difficulties but drop special scales the new merchant will trade for.

Freda has set up shop in the town of Honeywood, offering special sails in exchange for Elite fish scales, that gives the boat different attributes. Sails will have base and sprint speed, deceleration and stopping power stats, which can lead to some interesting sailing combinations.

Customisation has unlocked even more options where items can now be used as skins, without sacrificing any stats and the game now features Seasonal Events that run between 2-4 weeks, with Halloween kicking off today. For a limited time, a Goblin has set up shop in Honeywood, where seasonal currency can be exchanged for special themed items or costumes.

Finally, a secret boss, which is the most powerful players will have ever encountered, has been added to the game. True heroes will be able to unlock him, and those with keen eyes will be able to find him. Only the toughest Adventurers will be able to defeat him, but offers incredible rewards.

To purchase Nice Day for Fishing please visit us on Steam, PS Store, Nintendo Store or on the Website.
