Twinkleby's Hallowtide event brings spooky visitors and mysterious new features
Limited-time update brings seasonal shop, new neighbour "Countess Q" and spooky new features to the cozy archipelago
Stockholm, Sweden, October 22nd, 2025 - Swedish developer Might & Delight announced that Hallowtide, a limited-time seasonal event is now live on Twinkleby, a cozy game of decorating floating islands and crafting dioramas for your spacefaring neighbours. Running from October 22nd to November 6th, the update brings a festive new shop lineup, a mysterious visitor, and several new gameplay features.
Ready to embrace the spooky season in your archipelago? Visit Molligan's Antiques during the event to discover a special seasonal selection of items including carved pumpkins, novelty candles, pumpkin pies, and more. Collect the full Hallowtide item set to receive an extra reward! A new neighbour arrives to Twinkleby - Countess Q. This mysterious guest will only visit islands decorated with a certain Halloween item, so gather and display these decorations before the event ends if you wish to welcome her.
But that´s not all! Twinkleby is now bundled with Trash Goblin on Steam, giving 10% off the price!

New features that will be added with the Twinkleby Hallowtide update:
  • The Obbler: A new device created with "black hole"-inspired technology, allowing the player to equip the ability to clean up vast outdoor spaces in a matter of seconds. The Obbler sucks up any items in its vicinity, and returns them to the player's inventory.
  • Overgrown Houses: Some new, rare individuals have been spotted in the Twinkleby archipelago: plant people, overgrown with flowers and leaves. Any player who manages to attract them to their islands and cater to their wishes, will be rewarded with new variations of all fourteen houses! These house variations come with completely new visuals, where the houses are overgrown with vines and flowers - while their insides remain intact for decoration.
  • Twinkly Neighbours: Whenever a new neighbour arrives at an island, there's a small chance they might be a "Twinkly" version - a special colour variant that's extremely rare. Players can spot them instantly by their unique colouring and can view all the discovered Twinkly Neighbours in their "Collections" screen.
  • Evil doppelgangers: Just in time for Halloween, three neighbours in the Twinkleby archipelago have come face to face with their evil doppelgangers! Theodore, Edith and Dr. Damfino all have a sneaky twin chasing them around the archipelago, and if you get a visit from one of these neighbours, chances are that their doppelganger will also make their way to your island.
Along with these additions, the update will also deliver several fixes and quality-of-life improvements, focusing on reported issues and suggestions by players. Another patch is scheduled to roll out in November.
