Poznan Game Arena 2025: Play cozy Alpine resort game Above the Snow

Poznań, Poland – October 10, 2025 – Fresh off winning Best City-Building Game at the 2025 NYX Awards, developer Above the Desk is bringing its charming new title Above the Snow to Poznań Game Arena 2025, taking place October 24–26, 2025 at the Indie Zone in Pavilion 5, Sector B . Attendees will be among the first in the world to play the latest demo of this cozy narrative management sim that blends Frostpunk inspired mechanics with character-driven storytelling and base-building elements reminiscent of Stardew Valley.

Set in the snowy peaks of the 1960s Alps, Above the Snow invites players to build and manage a remote mountain resort where every guest has a story, every friendship matters, and every business decision shapes the community's future. As the resort grows from a humble cabin to a thriving alpine haven, players will balance hospitality and resource management.

At Poznań Game Arena, Above the Desk and publisher Wandering Wizard will also showcase unique real-world collaborations with Cortazu, Fjordfiesta, and Heywood brands whose furniture and outerwear appear both in-game and at the booth. Visitors can experience these real products firsthand, bridging the gap between virtual comfort and real-world design inspiration.
