STORY OF SEASONS Fans Champion Conservation as Charity DLC Approaches 20,000 Sales

London, U.K. — 25th September 2025 — Marvelous Europe today announced a major milestone for its charity DLC in partnership with the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS). The Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set DLC for STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar has been purchased almost 20,000 times since its release, with 100% of proceeds going directly to RZSS to support their conservation efforts for crucial invertebrate species.

The success of the DLC is the latest achievement in a five-year partnership that has seen Marvelous Europe and RZSS work together to save the pine hoverfly species from the brink of extinction. Funds from the initial partnership transformed the RZSS pine hoverfly breeding programme from a "ramshackle, leaky shed" into a state-of-the-art facility. This has enabled the organisation to increase the breeding of pine hoverflies from 170 to 8,000 individuals annually, enough to release into the wild and actively prevent the species' extinction. For the first time in eight years, adult pine hoverflies have been sighted and are reproducing in the wild.

To celebrate this milestone and thank the dedicated STORY OF SEASONS community, the publisher unveiled a new, exclusive artwork from renowned series artist Igusa Matsuyama. Fans can enter for a chance to win a signed, framed copy of this artwork by sharing images and videos of their in-game character wearing the Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set on X, formerly known as Twitter, and tagging it with #SOSGBHoverfly.

STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar is the latest instalment in the beloved farming life sim series, inviting players to breathe life back into Zephyr Town. Players will raise animals, harvest crops, and sell wares from their own stall in the lively weekly bazaar to restore prosperity to the town. The game features picturesque mountainside living, effortless gliding across town using wind power, and a colourful cast of characters to befriend and romance.

The Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set DLC is available globally, with 100% of proceeds going to RZSS.
