London, UK, 4th September 2025 - Neolithic LLC, the indie team behind Meta Quest hit Neolithic Dawn, is excited to announce the launch of the Steam Early Access edition. 

After over four years of development, Neolithic Dawn brings its groundbreaking multi-generational permadeath system to PCVR. Removing the graphical constraints of standalone VR, the SteamVR edition boasts an even more exquisitely detailed and vibrant world to explore. Fight terrifying Sabertooth tigers, tame gargantuan Mammoths and hunt Deer to survive the harsh wilderness. All benefit from improved textures, draw distance, and weather effects.

Neolithic Dawn transports players back to 10,000 BC North America, where they step into the shoes of a hunter-gatherer looking to rediscover their homeland and learn of their destiny. As the rich story unfolds, they'll learn that this is not one person's journey but many, through generations. Utilising a multi-generational permadeath system, in Neolithic Dawn, death does not mean the end, only a new beginning as players become their descendants, returning decades later. 

Doing so, players will discover prehistoric creatures and an ancient Ice Age civilisation, learning how to handcraft weapons and tools, hunt animals, and prepare for the ever-changing seasons. Hunger, thirst, warmth and energy all play key roles in surviving this harsh landscape.
