Launching in late 2025, PowerWash Simulator 2 is a standalone sequel, launching with a 38-level Career Mode and a suite of upgrades: split-screen co-op, 4-player online campaign, improved visuals, new traversal mechanics (abseiling, scissor lift and more), expanded equipment (including a surface cleaner and new attachments), and a customisable Home Base - complete with pettable cats.
FuturLab acknowledges that in the current cost-of-living climate, players often have limited budgets for games and entertainment. For many, PowerWash Simulator is more than just a game, it's a wellbeing tool, a way to decompress and reclaim a moment of calm. The team is keen to keep that experience within reach.
The studio also recognises the game's place in many players' libraries as a comforting, complementary title, one that supports a broader gaming lifestyle without demanding exclusivity. That approach continues with the sequel.
The choice to stick with the original price comes from a place of genuine appreciation. The team has been genuinely moved by the response to the original game and its DLC packs, and the hope is that continued support into the sequel will allow them to keep this accessible price point locked in at launch, with no plans to raise it.
"We're in a fortunate position because of the success of PowerWash Simulator and its passionate community to keep the price of our sequel as accessible as possible. There are so many personal anecdotes of how the game has helped our players that we wanted to ensure we could continue to widely offer the experience at a competitive price point," said Chris Mehers, Chief Operating Officer at FuturLab.
As with the original game, a steady stream of post-launch support is planned for PowerWash Simulator 2. A full roadmap is already in the works, including free updates and licensed content, with more to come well into 2026. While the team isn't ready to reveal details just yet, fans can expect new additions in the months following launch.
PowerWash Simulator 2 is currently in development for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
