The mystery visual novel by the creator of The Chrono Jotter, Raining City Millions Recollections, will release on August 26th

A supernatural story where how you manage wealth determines the ending

July 30th, 2025– A glooming city, foggy memories and strange creatures attracted by your new powers – millions of coins pouring from a hole in your hand. 2P Games and Orca Layout present their new title after the acclaimed girls love story of The Chrono Jotter. Raining City Millions Recollections is an investigative visual novel that will be released on Steam on August 26th 5am CEST for €11.79 and a launch discount of 10% during the first week.

Raining City Million Recollections' story unfolds following a similar style to The Chrono Jotter. Players will enjoy a dark mystery narration and investigation mechanics through exploring the city and tracking clues on their smartphones, as well as navigate relationships with otherworldly creatures and humans alike. They may seem friendly, but not everyone approaches you with good intentions, especially not when there's so much wealth just emerging from your hand.

Welcome to Egret City

After waking up with vague memories and covered in blood, Lyu Xuan discovers a mysterious black hole in the palm of her hand. Millions of strange coins are falling from it. She can't remember how she got these powers or if they're good or bad. However, she's not alone in the room and she has urgent things to take care of.

Investigation plays a leading role in Raining City Millions Recollections. Egret City is a surreal urban landscape soaked in rain and mystery. Deciding where to go will determine how fast events are presented in the story.

The main resource in the game are the Floodleaf Coins, an eerie currency emerging from the hole in Lyu Xuan's hand. Player's decisions in the story and their relationship with other characters will have an impact on their wealth. The remaining amount of coins as they advance in the narrative will determine its ending.

The supernatural coins attract humans and creatures alike. Some of them will want to steal Lyu Xuan's wealth. Some of them will fight to protect it. Players will have to navigate different kinds of relationships with these characters and find a way to protect themselves. However, among these otherworldly creatures, there's one always following Lyu Xuan like a loyal dog... but she hides a terrifying power – her true intentions, unknown.

To help players keep track of everything discovered, Lyu Xuan will make use of her smartphone where she records every detail of her investigation – building a library with information regarding the objectives, past clues and detailed profiles on the characters and creatures encountered.
