---------------------[1] Abstract:
In all my short-lived characters in Morrowind, I got a little annoyed at
trying to remember where the heck I learned the telekinesis spell, so I
started writing it down. Hence, the shopping list was born. I later expanded
it to alchemical reagents, mostly to make the "Go find five units of Sload Soap"
quests a little less irritating.
---------------------[2] Methods:
I've listed spells only by effect, since all you need is a spellmaking person
to make something usable. I was really fond of enchanting, and effects are
all you need there.
Many merchants have certain objects which they always stock, allowing you
to purchase an infinite supply of certain items. This is relatively trivial
when it comes to things like steel helmets, but it's often handy if you want
to abuse the alchemy system.
To restock one of the supplies listed below, just finish the sale and
immediately hit "barter" again. You don't need to finish the conversation.
I didn't bother rehashing the uses of these reagents, they can all be found
on other FAQ's on this site.
The miscellaneous stuff section just covers items I tend to buy in bulk.
If you want to figure out what a merchant always stocks, just save your
game, buy everything they have, and hit "barter" again.
I started building this FAQ from the Mages guild in Balmora, so most of
these items are in that area or close to one of the guild guide jump points.
I'm pretty sure I've "validated" all of these, but if you find one that doesn't
actually sell an infinite supply, email me. If you find a merchant who always
has a stock of something I'm missing on this FAQ or that should be on this FAQ,
or a spell effect that I don't have, email me at akay225@attbi.com.
This is still a work in progress, since there are certain spell effects that
I haven't found yet. For the reagents, there are places to buy Raw Ebony and
Moon Sugar, but none of these have the infinite supply I'm looking for.
(Notably, the alchemist in the NE corner of Sadrith Mora sells exactly 4 Raw Ebony,
which is kinda handy for one of the thief quests).
