Publisher gamigo Announces Public Playtest for Open-World MMORPG Gloria Victis, Live from April 20 until April 27
Prepare for a first glimpse into the popular medieval siege PvP's revival
Hamburg, Germany (April 8, 2026) | Today, renowned MMO publisher gamigo announced the upcoming launch of a public playtest for the revived medieval open-world MMORPG Gloria Victis. Coinciding with Steam's Medieval Fest, the playtest will launch April 20 at 10:30 CEST / 3:30am CST and run until April 27, 10:30 CEST / 3:30am CST.

Returning as a free-to-play title, Gloria Victis playtest will bring back all the mechanics that helped foster the game's dedicated community: realistic, skill-based medieval combat, massive faction PvP battles, and an extensive player-driven economy. Additionally, players who participate in the playtest will receive in-game rewards including premium currency and character Titles at launch. Once the playtest is over, all progression made in its duration will be reset, providing a clean slate once the game is fully released.
The playtest's launch will mark the first time players are able to return to the PvP-focused MMO since going offline in 2023, and the world of Gloria Victis is poised to welcome all manner of crusaders — from returning veterans to players experiencing the title for the very first time.
