Nightdive Studios’ System Shock Remake Gets Major Performance Boost on Nintendo Switch 1|2
Today, Nightdive Studios' award-winning sci-fi horror action remake of the classic System Shock has been updated across all platforms to bring performance, content, and feature parity across all versions. In particular, performance has been significantly improved for System Shock on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Nightdive Studios' System Shock is a critically acclaimed, faithful recreation of the 1994 sci-fi action shooter/immersive sim. It combines the gameplay of the original title with HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, and new sounds and music. A legion of hostile and mutated creatures — created and controlled by the delightfully villainous SHODAN — await players as they make their way through Citadel Station. Players will encounter traps, puzzles, and secrets as they pursue their escape. A combination of stealth, cunning, and futuristic weaponry will be required to survive.
