Vancouver, Canada (December 9, 2025) | Today, the passionate indie team at Pixile Studios releases 'Super Animal World', a massive free expansion for its cute yet brutal battle royale, Super Animal Royale. The Super Animal World expansion introduces a new Social Hub that features NPC-driven quests, deeper storytelling, and new cozy activities like fishing, bug catching, hamster ball races, and more. Most new activities are best experienced first-hand, so in order to experience all of the content updates' latest adventures, players can download the free patch now!
Inspired by the social atmosphere of pre-game lobbies, the Super Animal World expansion gives players a new place to meet, connect, and make friends as they explore the island together. In the new MMO-inspired Social Hub, players fish, catch bugs, and race in hamster balls between merciless fights to the death. This expansion adds a new layer of cozy contrast to the world of Super Animal Royale, while seamlessly integrating with the already popular competitive modes.
Launching as a free update on all platforms, the expansion preserves full cross-play and cross-save, and adds a cross-platform friends list. In addition, launch day brings updates to core modes, new Super Animals, and free cosmetic items to celebrate the community that has grown around the game since launch. S.A.W. vs Rebellion is a control-point mode where players select from five classes — Scout, Medic, Assault, Sniper, or Heavy — and compete in intense 24 vs. 24 battles to capture and hold three strategic points. The Bwoking Dead starts with four players infected with The Cluckles, a virus that mutates them into Zombie Super Chickens. To win they must infect all 40 players with their undead plague, before the survivors escape aboard a Giant Eagle and end the round.
