Birdseed 1.0 is coming in March 2026!

Vancouver, British Columbia, December 5, 2025: Buffalo Buffalo's newest game Birdseed VR has announced a release window for its 1.0 release! The 1.0 release is coming in March 2026 with new features including online multiplayer, new birds, a premium store, and much more.
Birdseed 1.0 marks the full release for Buffalo Buffalo's cozy birdwatching game in VR. Of the features added, they are most excited to unveil the introduction of Online Co-op! Hop into the world of Birdseed with your friend: chat while you snap birds, complete daily challenges together, or just goof around in this relaxing forest escape.
In addition to Online Co-op, 1.0 marks the launch of Scout's Shop, filled with premium cosmetics and tools. From Vintage Camera skins to adorable charms for the top of your viewfinder, players will be able to show off their individuality with unique cameras, lenses, and more. And of course, Birdseed will never pay-to-win: premium items will have no direct impact on gameplay and will be completely optional for players.
