MAJOR UPDATE: Diplomacy is Not an Option receives a rework for the Undead faction

We at Door 407 (Diplomacy is Not an Option, URBO, Abra-Cooking-Dabra) are happy to announce that Diplomacy is Not an Option will receive a major update on November 18! Return to rock even harder with the improved Undead faction!

Diplomacy is Not an Option is a base-building survival RTS with an active pause, set in a medieval fantasy realm. Players step into the well-worn shoes of the minor Lord, forced to fight...like, all the time! And his enemies always come in hordes!

Up to 25,000 enemies can attack your castle at a single time, so you have to master the arts of economy, warfare and magic to have a chance to survive.

This is not a Steam product activation code — it is only used to unlock press access through the game's Properties. 

To activate the code, right-click on Diplomacy is Not an Option in your Steam Library -> choose Properties -> go to Betas -> and paste the code into the Private Betas field. 

You can try the updated Undead in 4 newly added Challenges, or get a pack of saves from the press kit and play the Undead story branch — a guide on how to install the save is also located there.

The update adds:

• A whole new exclusive for the Undead faction research tree with 64 individual techs

• New undead units: the Hunting Fiend, the Flesh Collector, the Thundering Amalgam, the Drake of Progressive Rock, the Drake of Hard rock

• Economy rework: a new resource (Death metal), resource exchange, resource cost rebalance for units and buildings

• New buildings: Death metal mine and storage, Dealer Worm, Undead Towers, Massive Undead Towers

• Base expansion mechanic rework: Defiling monuments that make surrounding undead buildings work now don't require a special unit to be built and can be placed anywhere on the map, making it much easier to expand
