Wizard of Legend 2 Launches on Nintendo Switch November 25th
The fast-paced elemental roguelite makes its handheld debut with full feature parity and Switch-specific optimizations
[November 11th, 2025] – Dead Mage and Humble Games are happy to announce that Wizard of Legend 2 will launch on Nintendo Switch on November 25, 2025, bringing the game's trademark elemental combat, roguelite progression, and cooperative play to the hybrid console-handheld system.
Following its 1.0 release earlier this year on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox, the Switch version delivers all content from the console/PC edition, refined controls for Joy-Con and Pro Controllers, and optimized performance across both handheld and docked play.
In Wizard of Legend 2, players take on The Trials once again—mastering 77 Arcana, including 12 Chaos Arcana, to build custom spell loadouts and experiment with hundreds of possible combos. Every run challenges players to adapt to new enemy lineups, elemental interactions, and dynamic boss encounters designed to test both reflexes and strategy.
Whether competing solo, teaming up for local co-op in tabletop mode, or joining forces online with up to four players, the Switch version delivers the same responsive, combo-driven action that defines the series—now fully portable.
Wizard of Legend 2 Features:
-
4-player Co-op: Play solo or with up to three friends in seamless online or local multiplayer. The Switch release incorporates refinements introduced during 1.0, including faster Arcana responsiveness, improved camera tracking, adjusted boss HP scaling, and streamlined item interactions for smoother co-op runs.
-
Diverse Biomes and Bosses: Each region presents new elemental hazards, enemy archetypes, minibosses, and area bosses. From the heights of the Sky Citadel to the depths of the Chaos biome, every area features distinct mechanics and rewards for players to uncover.
-
Elemental Arcana System: Experiment with 77 Arcana spanning Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Chaos elements. Mix and match to discover synergies, from chain lightning combos to earth-based crowd control, and adapt your spell kit to each Trial's demands.
-
Expansive Language Support: Support in 13 languages, including English, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Persian, Farsi, and Turkish.
