Mutant Football League 2 Presents: NFL Week 5 Hellish Highlights
Week 5 of the NFL 2025 season is in the books, and this one was NOT one to miss. From touchdowns the length of the field to major upsets, the fine folks over at Digital Dreams Entertainment have recreated some of this week's biggest plays in their upcoming over-the-top "anti-Madden" Mutant Football League 2, which launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on December 10, 2025, just for your viewing pleasure.
Let's get right into the action!

Quarterbacks: Beware!
It seemed like everywhere you looked, sacks were commonplace throughout the league this weekend. Perhaps the craziest defensive play over the weekend came from the Killadelphia Evils when Defensive End Ze'Scarious Sith led a pack of linemen hunting down Chronic QB Bro Trix.
Just watch how the Killadelphia Evils pancaked the Mile High Chronic's quarterback!

Oh, When the Zombies Go Marching In
The New Goreleans Zombies came up big against the New Yuck Tyrants this weekend with an entire book's worth of highlights. Alvin Killmora climbed the leaderboard, surpassing legends Siki Barbarian and Carcus Talon in most receptions by a running back, to move up to fifth all-time. Multiple fumbles by the Tyrants set the Zombies up for some easy points. And let's not forget about Spencer Ratcatcher's BOMB to Bashid Badbleed, which resulted in an 87-yard touchdown!

H-Town Dominates in B-More
J.C. Stout rode into town leading a powerful Hexxon Oilers offense against a hurting Razors D-line, and it became clear very quickly that Hexxon was out for blood. Future Hall of Famer and Razors running back Barbaric Frenzy was no problem for the wall that is the Oilers' D-line, rushing for only 33 yards. It truly looked like a Varsity vs. JV game, ending in a devastating 44-10 home loss for the Razors.

Have a Day, Sicko Dawdle!
After the Scarolina Panzers' passing game struggled this season, all eyes turned to second-string running back Sicko Dawdle, who had slowly been climbing the ranks within the program. Following a calf injury to RB1 Chewbar Headbump, Dawdle was announced as the starter this week, and boy did he come to play!
Sicko Dawdle put up league-leading highlights, accumulating 234 total yards and a touchdown. After a career day, Dawdle looks ahead to next week's opponents, the Malice Hellboys, warning his former team to 'buckle up' after releasing him as a free agent.

A Pair of First Career Wins
Week 5 was a highlight for two rookie quarterbacks, as they both won their first career MFL games as starters. Those two young QBs are Spencer Ratcatcher (Zombies) and Psycho Ward (Lycans). Ward narrowly won his matchup following an intense battle against the Sins, resulting in a 22-21 win, while Ratcatcher beat the Tyrants more comfortably, 26-14.

Undefeated No More
Perhaps the biggest news this week is that two dominant programs of the past few years both secured their first losses of the season in Week 5: the kings of the Blood East, the Snuffalo Thrills, taken down by an electric Nuked London Hatriots offense led by former Thrill Teflon Riggs, and the reigning Mayhem Bowl champs, the Killadelphia Evils, struggled to convert as time ran out in the fourth quarter.
Following these two upsets, there are no more undefeated teams this season.
About Mutant Football League 2
This is not your parents' football game or a bloated simulation that chases realism at the expense of fun.
