As the Carimara – a small, magical being – your goal seems simple: summon a ghost. But it’s not as easy as shouting incantations – especially because you’re mute. What you do have, however, is the gift of conjuring questions. Use cards adorned with mysterious glyphs to communicate, listen to what characters have to say, and pay attention to the details, but be careful – ask the wrong questions and you may wind up another mystery for the ages…
Inspired by medieval Normandy folk legend and classic cinema alike, CARIMARA’s world and art design are immediately gripping and memorable, with highly detailed low-poly graphics, hand-crafted visuals and stop-motion animations. This short but impactful journey promises plenty of sordid secrets to unravel and sinister forces better left undisturbed. There are no foes to battle here – just riddles wrapped in candlelight.
