The PAX Rising Showcase is an intensely curated collection of games selected by the PAX Team. From over a hundred indie games submitted, No Stone Unturned is one of just twelve titles that PAX believes stands out from the crowd in terms of gameplay, entertainment, and inventiveness. Check out the brand new trailer here: No Stone Unturned combines the murder mystery style of Agatha Christie with the British small town comedy of Hot Fuzz, packed full of crime-solving minigames and mysteries to solve, starting with hardboiled squirrel Detective Cox's first case. Why did the chicken cross the road, only to be murdered by a runaway vehicle? Players will be able to solve this murder-most-fowl, and other cases, when No Stone Unturned launches on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation in 2026. Alongside PAX West, No Stone Unturned will also be playable at the Indie Arena Booth at Gamescom in Cologne, from 20 - 24 August 2025. Gareth Owens (the game's creator) started out at 15 years old as a freelance script writer for the Film Industry whilst lying about his age, before becoming an Escape Room designer for the best interactive experiences in London. With two police detective parents and old comedy cassettes to inspire him, he turned his creative efforts to Mystery and Detective fiction. Thanks to a love for video games and the Film Industry feeling "doomed by streaming", Gareth began learning to make games. Many years later, his debut release is coming soon with the help of a very small remote team of industry professionals and worldwide artists. |
