Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree Adds New Game+ Mode
Budapest, Hungary (July 7, 2025) | Knights Peak and Primal Game Studio announce the release of Update 1.6 for Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree. One of the most extensive content and balance updates to date, its headline feature adds more replay value with New Game+, along with significant quality-of-life improvements, plus extensive gameplay, UI, and graphical enhancements. Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is available worldwide digitally on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as part of the Steam Summer Sale with a 25% discount.
Ongoing post-launch updates are a cornerstone of Primal's community-focused game development, enabling teams to refine, rebalance, and expand the experience in direct response to player feedback. The dedicated Mandragora community has played a vital role in shaping each update, and both Primal Game Studio and Knights Peak remain committed to this collaborative approach.
Highlights of Update 1.6:
- New Game Plus (NG+) – Infinitely replayable, this challenging new mode introduces empowered variants of enemies, equipment, weapons, and the ability to start NG+0 with a fully-equipped character.
- 3 New Weapons – New Game+ introduces new weapons: Aurora, Crimson Slicer, and Reignbreaker.
- Skills, Talents & Nodes – Players can now remove and return skill upgrades, talents, and nodes at the Witches' Altar. The ability to instantly learn talents and nodes has also been added.
- Gliding – The gliding mechanic has been improved, providing better activation timing and fewer accidental cancellations.
- Boss balance – Bosses such as Sleepwalker and the final boss have been optimized for clarity and fairness.
- Combat Balance – Changes to the activation of Nightshade's Shadowstep and Vanguard's Adrenaline abilities, as well as improvements to enemy hitboxes and the clarity of their movements.
- Bug fixes – Dozens of crash and logic bugs have been fixed, including animation glitches, map inconsistencies, and talent malfunctions.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is available in both a Standard and Deluxe Editions on PC (without third-party DRM via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com), PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also coming to Nintendo Switch later in 2025.
Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree will also be available on physical formats is planned for September in a Standard Edition and a Collector's Edition with select retailers. The Collector's Edition will feature exclusive physical items, including artbook, an original soundtrack CD, and more, alongside the physical game.
