Wednesday, 14th May, 2025, Cambridge, UK. Jagex is excited to unveil the long-awaited continuation of a fan-favourite Old School RuneScape quest series, as 'Great Kourend' receives an all-new boss encounter with Yama, The Master of Pacts, available to RuneScape members today.
Following the defeat of Yama's Judge in 2021's 'A Kingdom Divided', a new power has arisen. Deep inside the Chasm of Fire hidden beneath Kourend, Yama, a mighty minotaur fire demon, awaits, gathering power to unleash a new threat to Gielinor. Wielding a back-breaking axe and with wings, horns and hooves, he controls the Disciples of Yama, whose worship knows no bounds...
Venture into the blazing depths of the Chasm of Fire to take on Yama in a challenging new endgame boss encounter that can be fought solo or alongside friends and clanmates. Defeat Yama to unlock bountiful rewards, including the Demon Tallow, a key ingredient in Surge Potions; the Chasm of Fire Teleport Scroll; the Grimoire Page; and much, much more. Outside of facing Yama, explore the Chasm of Fire to discover a new mining activity and smithing area where the elusive Crimson Lovakite can be harvested and forged into powerful Oathplate armour.
To embark on this new adventure, players must have completed the 'A Kingdom Divided' quest. Once completed, don your Best in Slot Gear, and max out combat before signing a contract on your life and heading into the depths to start the quest.
