May 8th, 2025 – Publisher 2P Games announces the release of Chaos Galaxy 2, the retro-styled grand strategy game made by the solo developer Han Zhiyu, on Nintendo Switch. The game can be acquired on the eShop for 17.99 GBP / 19.99 EUR with a 20% off in the first two days after the release.

Chaos Galaxy 2 is a turn-based warchess game inspired by the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It offers deep strategy possibilities, letting the player choose among 12 different factions, hundreds of commanders with unique stories and features, and a vast range of army combinations using spaceships, mechas, and monsters.

The story of Chaos Galaxy 2 takes place in a cluttered political situation. The thousand-year-old Galactic Empire has collapsed under the alien attack, and now everyone fights for dominance. Admirals of the empire, pirates, merchant guilds, the church, mercenaries, and colonists all plunge into chaotic battles for supremacy. Meanwhile, the rebellious intelligent machine legion and the returning alien hives mercilessly begin to destroy humanity. The tragic and fierce twilight of the gods has begun.

Now it's time to join a faction and face the important decisions that will lead to a new order in this chaotic galaxy.

Players choose from eight distinct factions—ranging from empire-builders and pirates to intelligent machines and alien devourers—each offering unique playstyles and mechanics that dramatically affect how the game unfolds.

Strategic depth comes from managing planetary development, researching tech trees, building specialised fleets, and unlocking faction-specific bonuses. Warfare plays a central role, but diplomacy offers equally powerful alternatives, allowing players to manipulate alliances and destabilise enemies without a single shot.
