EMERGENCY CALL 112 - THE FIRE FIGHTING SIMULATION 2 launches in March

Paderborn, Germany, February 23, 2021 | On Thursday, March 18, 2021, the new firefighting simulator Emergency Call 112 - The Fire Fighting Simulation 2 by Aerosoft and developer Crenetic will be released on PC. The game puts you in the shoes of a professional fire fighter in Germany – with realistic gear and a wealth of emergencies ranging from saving a cat to full-scale operations with multiple vehicles and dozens of firemen.

Players experience 24-hour shifts individually or in multiplayer sessions together with other players at Wache1 of the fire department in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. They experience challenging and multi-faceted missions. In the game, the fire brigade are called to fight all kinds of fire (e.g. container, apartment or roof truss fires), but there are many other challenging tasks too, like traffic accidents, pumping operations, oil spills, tree sawing and other missions.

To get their job properly done, the players will be equipped with a wide range of vehicles, such as aerial ladder platform trucks or fire engines with all the equipment and tools needed. On site, players can either coordinate all emergency forces and equipment using the new tactical mode or, if required, take on the role of any team member at any time. A special feature is the dubbed radio traffic during operation and before, when the fire brigade are on their way.

"We've been working closely with the fire brigade in Mülheim and have consulted with our community, many all of whom are firefighters themselves. We did everything to make this game as realistic as possible – without sacrificing the fun of playing." says Crenetic Managing Director Carsten Widera-Trombach.

And Winfried Diekmann, CEO of Aerosoft, adds: "We are committed to support this game for a long time as we have many, many ideas for new features, new gear and new vehicles."

Like its predecessor, the new title has been developed in close cooperation with the fire brigade in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, which has permanently advised Crenetic and Aerosoft on all gameplay features with regard to maximum realism and authenticity. That's why they have been modeled with their station and vehicles themselves. Through a wide range of modding functions, however, players can change all typical features such as vehicle paint schemes, radio commands or flash patterns and thus adapt them to the fire department in their hometown, for example. Quite a few skins have already been created and shared via the Steam Workshop.

The features
  • Open game world without loading times for a smooth gaming experience
  • Working in a team with AI controlled firefighters
  • Possibility to take over the role of another officer at any time
  • Multiplayer with hot-join function and optional dedicated servers
  • Control over the operation sequence through a tactical overview
  • Challenging missions in the fire brigade with special rights
  • Varied missions from the areas rescue-extinguish-recover-protect
  • Simulation of 24h emergency services with reporting and vehicle takeover
