A new report just came in from Transformer World that says a new team at Paramount will reset the Transformers live action movie series following the release of Bumblebee: The Movie.
Although the movies suck, they have made a ton of money for Paramount, so it's kind of surprising that they would move away from the status quo; no matter how bad Michael Bay's films are (despite adding big faces, like Mark Wahlberg), people keep flocking to them, tripping over themselves to hand over their money for absolute dreck.
Still, it seems like this is the real deal; in addition to today's report, long time director Michael Bay announced on 2006 that he was done with the franchise after Transformers: The Last Knight.
