Despite so-so reviews (I think we're sitting at about 61% on RT, although the fan reaction is much higher) The Punisher just got greenlit for a second season.
It was a tough prospect out of the gate, getting a gun-crazy, mass murderer onto TV, what with the current climate in America, but the show did a good job with the violence and the vengeance, and actually had a pretty thoughtful take on PTSD, and how we handle it (or don't) in America. And also, TONS of gun-violence. I love the Punisher, I love the show, and more episode reviews are on the way (read the first two here and here)
