(This is a translation of a test conducted in Germany using an EU device.)
The Qrevo Pro is an innovative robot vacuum cleaner with a multifunctional docking station in the mid-price range. The device is available in white and black. The RRP is €999, but the current market price is €619. We purchased our test device on October 8, 2024, for €599.45 via eBay from the Roborock Store and have now put it through its paces for six months.
Design and Build
Even upon unpacking the Roborock Qrevo Pro, you realize that this is a premium product. Its elegant, minimalist design and high-quality build make it an eye-catcher in any room. We were particularly impressed by its robust construction, which suggests longevity.
Installation and Start-up
Installing the Roborock Qrevo Pro is child's play. Thanks to the easy-to-understand quick start guide and intuitive app integration, the robot vacuum is ready to use in just a few minutes. Connecting to the app is seamless and offers numerous setting options to optimize the cleaning process.
Navigation and Room Coverage
Equipped with LiDAR navigation, the Qrevo Pro precisely maps the room and plans efficient cleaning routes. Our tests have shown that it easily masters even complex room structures and narrow passages.
The robot reliably detects obstacles and almost never gets stuck. By "almost never" I mean that you should clear the floor and ensure that there are no cables or loose objects on the floor.
Suction Power and Cleaning Effectiveness
The Roborock Qrevo Pro's suction power is impressive at 7000 Pa. Even at low suction levels, it reliably removes dust, hair, and coarse dirt from hard floors and carpets. The variable suction power automatically adapts to different floor coverings, further increasing efficiency.
Carpet Cleaning
The Roborock Qrevo Pro's ability to thoroughly clean carpets was particularly impressive. The Qrevo Pro automatically detects carpets and increases suction power to remove deep-seated dirt. This ensures a clean and well-maintained appearance. It even masters long-pile carpets!
Hard Floor Cleaning
The Roborock Qrevo Pro really shines on hard floors (in our case, Star Galaxy granite). It cleans effectively and gently without leaving scratches or damage.
Mopping Function
Another highlight of the Roborock Qrevo Pro is the integrated mopping function. The water tank is easy to fill, and attaching the mopping attachment is straightforward. In our tests, the robot left no water streaks after cleaning, and the floors dried quickly. Two rotating mops, one of which can be extended, ensure that even edges and corners are thoroughly cleaned.
Battery Life and Charging Time, Self-Cleaning
With an impressive battery life of up to 180 minutes, the Qrevo Pro is also suitable for larger households. After completing the cleaning task, the robot returns to the charging station independently. The charging time is about four hours, which is on the higher end compared to other models, but still very good considering the runtime. The mops are automatically cleaned with 60°C hot water, and the collected dirt is vacuumed away.
Noise Level
Another plus point is the low noise level during operation. The Roborock Qrevo Pro operates pleasantly quietly, so it can be used easily even when people are present without causing too much disturbance.
App Control and Voice Assistants
The Roborock app offers extensive control options. From customized cleaning schedules and zone cleaning to control via voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant – everything is possible. The app's user interface is user-friendly and clearly laid out. Unfortunately, the UI is only designed for mobile phones. While the app runs on tablets, it doesn't utilize their display. We also found it very convenient that the same app manages all existing Roborock devices – in our case, the Qrevo Pro, a Q5 Pro, and a Zeo One washer-dryer.
Maintenance and Care
Maintaining the Roborock Qrevo Pro is incredibly simple. The dust container is easy to remove and empty, and the filters can be washed and reused. The brushes are also easy to clean and replace. The rubber main brush naturally wears out and is available as a spare part. We recommend avoiding compatible consumables and purchasing only original parts. This comment, as well as our entire test, is not sponsored by the manufacturer; rather, we have found that a compatible rubber main brush is virtually impossible to clean of dog hair because it cannot be disassembled.
Value for Money
The Roborock Qrevo Pro may be in the higher price segment, but given the performance and features offered, the value for money is absolutely justified. Anyone willing to invest a little more will get a robot vacuum that meets high standards.
Problems, Defects, and Support
We have four-legged security personnel, and when there's a lot of dog hair, a plug forms in the "connecting pipe" between the vacuum and the collection container, blocking the suction and making it very difficult to remove with the tools normally available at home. We solved the problem by purchasing a flexible brush. It would be nice if one were included.
After 5 months, the Qrevo Pro suddenly stopped working. The robot was zigzagging wildly, couldn't find its docking station, and could no longer recognize its surroundings. Of course, we cleaned it thoroughly (including the sensors) and performed a factory reset. Nothing could be done – it completely stopped working.
Well, a robot can break down sometimes – that's why there's a manufacturer's warranty and telephone support.

I called them. First call: First, a terrible computer voice with a selection menu for a high-tech provider, then a 22-minute wait with Chinese music that was horrible to European ears. After that, an employee answered whose headset was obviously broken, making communication impossible. Second call: 35 minutes on hold – I couldn't stand the music anymore and hung up. Third call – made by an employee, after 30 minutes she hung up and told me she didn't want to listen anymore – the music was torture.
So, let's forget about the telephone hotline – I sent a message with a description of the problem via the eBay system. The response came within 12 hours (on a Sunday!) and told me to send an email to a support email address with pictures and a video, as well as a description of the problem. I did that. After two days, I received an email with follow-up questions, which I answered again. After another three days and two more follow-up questions, I was sent a DHL return label and a message with shipping instructions. Fortunately, we still had the original packaging and sent the complete device with all accessories to the service company specified.
We shipped on Saturday, and the following Tuesday we received an email with a DPD tracking number and a product test and repair report.

Two days later, the repaired robot was delivered. It's also "our" robot – because we had marked it. It's working perfectly again and, of course, had a lot of work to do to make up for the two weeks without cleaning.
We really missed the Qrevo Pro while it was defective.
In summary, I think the telephone hotline is useless – Roborock should work on that. While the email support is annoying with its many queries, it works, and the repair company is lightning fast and excellent.
Test conditions
I would also like to note here: The test conditions for the Qrevo Pro were incredibly tough! Over 200m² to clean daily. Dog hair, long-haired carpets, granite floors, obstacles like bar stools, moving objects, dogs running around leaving dirty footprints everywhere, flower pots, and much more.
The Qrevo Pro is the first robot vacuum to master all of these challenges. In recent years, we've had various cleaning robots from different manufacturers, all of which have failed miserably.
