Fall Of Light was a great time when it released last year, a Souls/Borne type of title that we had a lot of fun with and now, the game has gotten a big update in the form of the Darkest Edition, out on Steam for free, right now.
Fall of Light takes players into a dark world, where an old warrior leads his daughter towards the last remnants of sunlight. Enemies are born from "the Shadow", and the lack of light, in combination with the stylized graphics make for a grim, hopeless looking world, but in a good way, where you chop the everlasting MF out of your evil, demonic looking enemies. The enemy wants nothing less than to end the "Era of Men" (don't they always?) so it's up to you to stop it.

There's a free demo available that will give you a good feel for how the early game plays; the basic combat, a new weapon, and some other secrets to dig out if you take the time to explore thoroughly. The free update is available for any existing Steam user who owns the game, and is packed with goodies, like an all new dungeon, a new boss, new, deadly traps, new enemies and fresh weapons to collect. In addition to that, there are myriad tweaks and changes to check out as well.
