Assassin's Creed Odyssey's release date is looming closer, and Ubisoft is really starting to rev up the promo machine. This newest launch trailer focuses on Alexio's development from a boy to a warrior, listening to his mother tell tales of old school, legit Spartans, like Leonidas, who you might remember from 300, which was completely badass. Let's hope the game follows suit.
In the latest entry to the series, you'll get to choose your gender in a way, picking either Alexios or Kassandra, which is going to be interesting, since I am almost positive that historically, women were not fighting in Sparta, but chilling hard at home raising little gangster warriors. You'll customize your gear, upgrade your abilities, personalize your ship and kill many, many people. Exploring a vast world, you hike mountains, cruise on the sea, meet tons of NPCs (killing some of them I'm sure), and make decisions with branching consequences and dialogue options.
