Marvel's Spider-Man Game Length Revealed On PS4Video Game News Online, Gaming News

There has been a ton of hype surrounding the new Spider-Man (we've definitely done our share of hyping this game, and what can I say? We're stoked to play it), and we've been devouring any info we can get our hands on. Insomniac Games community director James Stevenson just let another nugget drop about the upcoming title, responding to an interested gamer on twitter about the length of the game.

According to Stevenson, the game will take about 20 hours to beat on normal difficulty, completing "some quests and activities," but that it would take "a lot longer" to complete everything, so those of you who are looking at beating the harder difficulty modes, collecting all trophies and beating all the side quests and optional missions are going to need to carve out a bigger chunk of time than a weekend or so. Better hurry up on that God Of War new game plus.

Insomniac has set this version of the wall-crawler at a point where Spidey has been fighting crime for the better part of a decade, so expect a lot of moves to already be accessible when you begin the game. There are also a ton of web-based attacks at your disposal, and you'll need them; the early trailers have already shown off a host of Spider-Man's rogue's gallery, from an early boss fight with the Kingpin, to aerial brawls with the Vulture. Also making an appearance are the the Rhino, Silver Sable, Mr. Negative, Scorpion and plenty of others. We're looking forward to seeing how they will make each boss battle unique and creative, and seeing just how in-depth the combat will be.

Spider-Man releases exclusively for PS4 on September 7th of this year.
