Sure, they're not the most exciting titles in the world, but hey, better than nothing, right? Since microsoft started the whole backwards compatible thing in 2015, we've gotten over 400 Xbox 360 games, and 30 original titles, so they haven't skimped on the freebies. We talked about the backwards compatible games that arrived earlier this week, and now we are set up for some new ones, so let's dive right in.

The 2008 reboot of Prince of Persia is the first one, an acrobatic action adventure from Ubisoft. If you missed this one (or were too young), the game is set in ancient Persia, and you'll use your unnamed character's acrobatic abilities to scale walls, chop dudes up and solve puzzles. You spend your time traversing the world, healing specially designated spots of land, often alongside an AI-controlled companion named Elika. The game was well-received in its day, and still has life left in it, even in 2018.

The second title is the Xbox 360 version of Sine Mora, the side-scrolling shoot-'em-up from Suda 51's studio, Grasshopper Manufacture. Check out our review of Sine Mora Ex here. In Sine Mora, players fly an airplane and blast enemies, and you can upgrade the primary weapons, and the plane also has a limited-use, more powerful secondary weapon that drops multiple enemies at once.

Finally, there's the third-person shooter Earth Defense Force 2025, where players take control of a soldier from one of four soldier classes. Players have access to several weapons which range from assault rifles and sniper rifles to rocket launchers, grenades, and laser weapons.
