Playstation Now has mainly been for returning to the halcyon days of PS3, but no longer! A dozen PS2 games just arrived on the streaming service, and although it isn't exactly the outpouring of blockbuster titles we were hoping for, they are all in HD and they have new trophies, which is better than just a straight port over. Some of the PS2 games you are sure to recognize, like Dark Cloud 2 and Ape Escape 2, but others are a little more puzzling and obscure, like Rogue Galaxy and Kinetica.

The announcement also made mention of some new drops for your PS3 library, like Sine Mora EX, Metal Slug 3, Limbo, Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics, Siren, The Last Blade 2. The inclusion of an ever expanding library of PS3 titles and the inclusion of some PS2 titles gives the game streaming service a bit more credibility, but where are my Metal Gears and Jak and Daxter titles? Come on, Sony! You're gonna tease me with Forbidden Siren? For shame.

PS Now goes for $19.99 a month, and currently has over 600 titles to choose from.
