Garage is an upcoming, top down shooter from tinybuild, coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.
Although at first glance, Garage looks kind of like a grittier Hot Line Miami, or maybe even a faster paced Darkwood; all three games are top down shooters and they all clearly snag their influences and style from genres celebrated in previous decades.
However, while similar games rely more heavily on atmosphere and story, Garage looks like it has more in common with Smash TV. In the reveal trailer, you see some pretty frantic gameplay, with waves of enemies rushing you like mad as you frantically dodge and fire at the hordes.
"Inspired by VHS Era B-Movies, Garage is a bloody topdown shooter," reads the official announcement from tinyBuild. "You play as Butch, an ex-drug dealer, who single-handedly slays hordes of mutants and the undead."
