A Hole New World, a simplistic throw-back title inspired by classic side-scrollers, crushed its Kickstarter all the way back in 2015, and was originally intended to release on the Wii-U. Now, it's headed to the Switch on March 1st.

The straightforward jump and shoot gameplay gives you no tutorials (or an easy mode), and features a two button control scheme, so you can dive right into the action. It has an equally simple plot: your city is being invaded by monsters from the Upside Down World, and you, the Potion Master, must defeat this rising evil, complete with gigantic bosses, with nothing but your potions and Fäy, your fairy companion.

The game released in 2017 and was well received by critics and players, scoring nominations for “Best PC Game” and “Best Technology” by the Spanish Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences”, and “Best Game” by Austrian “SAGA Awards".

The story mode has five different worlds with multiple endings, a Game+ mode, Boss Rush Mode, and a Challenge Mode.

Take a look at the trailer below, and keep an eye out for it's March arrival on the Switch.
