Today, developer/publisher My.com, announced that their tank-action shooter is free, and they mean it; you don't even need a PS+ subscription to play.
In Armored Warfare, you can commandeer one of many historical war-machines to annihilate your friends and enemies, like the German Leopard, the Russian T-72 AV and the American M1Abrams. You can grab some friends and blast through co-op missions, or just shoot each other, the choice is yours.
Although you don't need a subscription to play, if you do have PS+ you can download a free bundle from the PlayStation Store to get you started. The bundle includes a vehicle with a PlayStation skin, one day of Premium Time, 500K game credit and 500 gold. You'll also get a three-day rental of a variety of vehicles in addition to a 20% discount on all Starter Packs.
