We reviewed Wulverblade a couple weeks back and loved it. Originally released on the Nintendo Switch, the brutal 2D beat-em-up was an immediate hit here at the office, and pretty much everywhere else, with some of the best couch co-op we've seen in some time.
In Wulverblade, the Roman Empire is about to take control of the north of Britannia and decimate the last remaining tribes, but you have other plans for your people. Play as either Caradoc, Brennus or Guinevere, all members of a family originating in the northern tribe of the Caledonii. This family of warriors has been the guardian of the most northerly tribes of Britannia for generations, and you must defend the homeland from the Roman army.
Wulverblade is now available on the Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
