Middle-earth: Shadow of War Mobile Update Adds 4 Player Co-OpVideo Game News Online, Gaming News

Middle Earth: Shadow of War got a big content update today, adding a bunch of features and four player real-time cooperative play.

The plot is pretty standard LOTR fare; certain that it will help overthrow Sauron and raise himself as a force for good, Celebrimbor forges a new ring of power to help even up the odds and give him an edge. Alongside this ring of power, he has also forged a series of minor rings that are bound to its fate and call to champions across Middle-earth, so they can join up, wage the Shadow War and overthrow Sauron's armies. Basically, Sauron is at it again, and the champions of good have to rise up and stomp him out. The game has you continuing Talion's journey through Mordor, waging real-time battles to turn Sauron's army against him with the Champions of Middle-earth and your own personal Orc army.

The new update adds four player real-time cooperative play, a Balrog event that runs from January 18th to the 22nd, and champion Helm Hammerhand is getting buffed and deals double damage during this event. There's also a new Overlord Event, Gondorian bosses and Dwarven battles all coming your way in January and February.

You can get Middle-earth: Shadow of War right now on googleplay and the apple store
