In a self-aggrandizing move, Crystal Dynamics wants you to stop for a minute and think, "Hey... you know what? Crystal Dynamics is a good company. I like them, and when I think about their products, I want to spend money. They've been around for 25 years, after all. They know what they're doing. Yes...Crystal Dynamics... good... money... Crystal Dynamics... fun times...."

To that end, let me help. The developer has kicked off its 25th year by straight up balling, hanging their collective hats in a newly redesigned, state-of-the-art facility that has a motion capture stage, six soundproof audio rooms, a dailies review room featuring a 4K HDR TV setup, a photogrammetry capture space, a full 4K HDR Dolby Atmos equipped theater, and more.

That's right guys. They got 4K TVs up in there.

Crystal Dynamics has developed and published over 30 award-winning titles during their 25 years of being around, and some of them are sweet franchises that will make you say, "Oh, man! I used to love that game! Why haven't there been any sequels or movement at all for years?" Games like Gex, Legacy of Kain and their "Avengers" project that is going to... have the Avengers in it. They are making some movement with old franchises though, like the top notch Tomb Raider, which has now sold over 63 million copies worldwide including 11 million units for Tomb Raider and more than 7 million units for Rise of the Tomb Raider. That'll buy a gang of 4K TVs.

“Crystal occupies a special place in the games industry," said Ron Rosenberg to himself. "Over a third of our team have been with the studio for more than 5 years, and several have been here for more than 20 years, which makes us a tightly knitted team. Over the years, many industry luminaries have worked at Crystal and contributed to the creative culture that our current rock star developers embody and evolve. From the very beginning, we’ve shared a common goal of crafting incredible character-driven games, and 25 years later that flame of innovation burns brighter than ever,” he said, inspirationally.

So there you have it, folks. The post goes on to talk about how much charity work they do and how much they love "giving people what they love", and then they mention the Avengers project again so you won't forget that someday it will be a thing. Watch the video below and really feel how much Crystal Dynamics loves you.
