Dice Wars is a fresh take on old-school board games, and they claim you can play their game forever. Whaaat? Their aim is to get away from tiny figurines, cardboard cutouts and little paper tokens, so they kicked all that to the curb and started fresh, creating the "gaming experience" they call Dice Wars.
In Dice Wars you are a warrior on an epic battlefield represented by a large (1-inch) polyhedral die. It’s a tactics battleground that’s specifically tailored for insane replay value. Getting away from the the tried, true and stale way other board games are usually played, instead of carefully curating or buying the strongest forces, Dice Wars is all about random chance, so you’ll need to figure out a battle plan on the fly. There are multiple ways to win and the game encourages co-op play, giving you the option to make alliances to save yourself. Maneuver your randomly-generated armies across an ever-changing hex-grid battlefield to outwit, outplay, and outlast your opponents. Roll your units, discover synergies on the fly, then deploy merciless combos to command your forces to victory!
Currently on kickstarter, Dice Wars comes with 7 giant polyhedral dice, 9 modular game board tiles that can be shifted, shuffled and flipped and even has a free expansion pack to take the dice rolling action even further.
