This game looks like it could be pretty creepy. Plus, it's narrated by Sean Bean, so you know it's gonna be good.

The game is inspired by the true events of the Dyatlov Pass incident, although these days "inspired by a true story" usually means, "Kind of sort of used some of the same elements a little, but added monsters and a bunch of other insane stuff."

Still, what do I care, as long as it's scaring the crap out of me? 


Resident Evil ain't based on a damn thing, and I'm currently afraid to play it in the dark.

Kholat takes you into the Ural Mountains where nine hikers disappeared in 1959, only for their bodies to be found scattered on the slope of Kholat Syakhl, some with unexplainable injuries. Baffled, Russian investigators closed the case stating that "a compelling unknown force" had caused the deaths.

Narrated by Sean Bean and powered by Unreal Engine 4, Kholat is a non-linear adventure game of exploration and horror that thrusts you into the boundless scenery of the inhospitable Ural Mountains with the task of uncovering the truth, though you may find more than you expected...
