Orcs Must Die! Unchained, a wisecracking multiplayer game that uniquely blends the strategic depth of a MOBA with the intense action of third-person combat, will be playable in booth #9148 at PAX East in Boston, March 6-8. Gamers will have the opportunity to control powerful heroes, summon deadly minions and place devious traps to defend and attack in a wild battle for fortress supremacy.
 
While gamers at PAX East will get the first opportunity to play the massive new update to the game, closed beta testers will begin to test the all the new features and changes soon from the comfort of their own home. The Phase 2 Closed Beta update will incorporate a separation of heroes into offense and defense roles, an overhaul of hero abilities, new traps, the addition of bosses, hero leveling, an overhaul of the weaver system, the addition of traits, a new map, and much more.
 
Orcs Must Die! Unchained, the third game of the successful Orcs Must Die! franchise, will be published in North America by Robot Entertainment, in Europe by GameForge, and in the Greater China Region by Tencent. The game supports up to 10 players (5 vs 5 multiplayer). Currently in development, Orcs Must Die! Unchained will be available as a free digital download on PC and Sony PS4 in 2015. The original Orcs Must Die! released to critical acclaim in October 2011, winning the AIAS Strategy Game of the Year. It was followed in 2012 by the co-operative sequel, Orcs Must Die! 2.
