World War Z-Update führt Crossplay ein
Xbox One und PC-Spieler können ab sofort gemeinsam das Kampffeld betreten – bis zum 2. April ist World War Z kostenlos im Epic Games Store downloadbar

World War Z, der beliebte Koop-Shooter von Saber Interactive und Focus Home Interactive erhält eine neue Crossplay-Funktion, auf die sich Xbox One und PC-Spieler freuen dürfen. Bis zum 2. April kann das Spiel, das durch Paramount Pictures berühmten Blockbuster-Film inspiriert wurde, kostenlos im Epic Games Store heruntergeladen werden. Xbox One-Spieler dürfen sich über einen 75%igen Rabatt bis zum 30. März im Rahmen der Deals with Gold freuen.

Das Crossplay umfasst PvE-Missionen und den wellenartigen Horde Mode Z für das Matchmaking und die offiziellen Spieleserver. Besitzer einer PlayStation®4 sollen zukünftig ebenfalls in den gemeinsamen Kampf einsteigen dürfen.

Das heutige Update beinhaltet zudem neue Waffenvarianten mit einzigartigen Perks, Balance-Verbesserungen für PvE und dem Horde Mode Z, sowie vier Premium-Charakterskins, verfügbar im Bundle oder über den Season Pass.

Angetrieben durch die Saber Interactive hauseigene Swarm Engine™, kann World War Z hunderte Zombies gleichzeitig darstellen. Die Spieler können aus sechs verschiedenen Charakterklassen und einem umfangreichen Arsenal tödlicher Waffen, Sprengstoffen, Geschütztürmen und Fallen wählen, um sich den Zombies in intensiven Vier-Spieler-Koop-Missionen entgegen zu stellen. Darüber hinaus können sich die Spieler im einzigartigen "Spieler-gegen-Spieler-gegen-Zombies"-Modus (PvPvZ) online messen.

World War Z ist für PlayStation®4 und Xbox One im Handel erhältlich.
