Warhammer 40.000: Inquisitor - Martyr ist ein Action-Rollenspiel, das nicht nur an die dystopische Welt des dunklen und brutalen 41. Jahrtausends erinnert, sondern auch der nächste Meilenstein in der Entwicklung der Action-RPGs wird. Basierend auf den Erfahrungswerten der “The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing” Action-RPG Trilogie, arbeitet NeocoreGames daran, die Grenzen dieses Genres zu erweitern und in ein Sandbox-Universum zu übertragen.
In der Einzelspieler-Kampagne schlüpft der Spieler in die Rolle eines Agenten der immer wachsamen Inquisition und kämpft in einem finsteren und geheimen Krieg in den Weiten des Warhammer-Universums. Nach Ende der Kampagne führt die Geschichte den Spieler in ein riesiges Sandbox-Spiel: Das Setting in einem abgelegenen Teil des riesigen Universums sorgt für jahrelangen Spielspaß. Die fortlaufende Entwicklung und der kontinuierliche Fluss an neuen Spieleinhalten werden das Gameplay nachhaltig bereichern.
