Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order, visionary builders of digital gaming skyscrapers, have today released their latest video developer diary for Cities: Skylines, the city simulation game for PC, Mac and Linux coming March 10th.

Exploring the rich variety of modding tools available within Cities: Skylines, the video illustrates how you will be free to create your own individual vision of your perfect city, bringing your own ideas into the game and ultimately blurring the line between playing and creating. To explore all the rich modding options within Cities: Skylines, watch the brand new video developer diary below.

Cities: Skylines offers full freedom modding, allowing you to create your own version of the game. Everything from designing lakes and rivers to creating buildings and parks, and then utilizing your creations in-game using the built-in asset importer, a tool which allows you to take objects you’ve created in third-party software and import them into the game. If you want other people to see what you have created then you can by simply sharing it on the Steam Workshop.

Eager modders can get a headstart on contributing to Cities: Skylines by reading the modding guide for the game.

Players of Cities: Skylines will have total control in endless sandbox city-building gameplay across massive maps, allowing them to design and manage the metropolis of their dreams. Vast backdrops and maps provide players with countless ways to improve and expand their cities, while extensive modding support allows players to design everything from in-game parks and buildings to new landscapes.
