Necrophosis: Full Consciousness is available now
The Complete Nightmarish Experience Lands on PlayStation® 5 and Xbox Series X|S
28th May, 2026. PQube and Dragonis Games are proud to announce that Necrophosis: Full Consciousness is available now on PlayStation® 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The complete edition brings Necrophosis to console for the first time, alongside the newly released Subconsciousness DLC.
Players can now step into the decaying world of Necrophosis, where the surrealist visions of Zdzisław Beksiński meet the cosmic dread of H.P. Lovecraft. Built around exploration, puzzle-solving and confronting the unknown across other dimensions, Necrophosis: Full Consciousness delivers an experience unlike anything else in the genre.
The launch trailer unveils new grotesque landscapes from Necrophosis alongside previously unseen footage from the Subconsciousness DLC.
Players begin as Consciousness, trapped within a vessel devoid of memory, exploring cursed landscapes to unravel fragments of the truth. The journey then descends into Subconsciousness, included in full in the console edition, navigating darker realms, encountering new entities and uncovering truths that Consciousness alone could never reach.
The game features several stunning and distant realms of death in a world consumed by Necrophosis. Players have the chance to explore the macabre landscapes while diving deeper into the echoes of the dying cosmos, where narrative poems enhance the enigmatic backstory and players engage with ancient gods and Lovecraftian-inspired entities, including Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep, Khnum and the Yellow King.
Each environment features minimalist, droning ambience layered with whispers, distant groans and echoing cryptic voices that heighten tension and unease. Face gods, eldritch entities and Lovecraftian beings who have taken refuge here, learning their histories and the horrors they embody. Return to the realm of death in the Necrophosis: Subconsciousness expansion, exploring new landscapes, entities and stories as your journey leads ever deeper.
Physical PlayStation® 5 Edition Includes The Shore
The physical PlayStation® 5 edition bundles Necrophosis: Full Consciousness together with The Shore: Enhanced Edition, the debut title from Dragonis Games. Set on a forbidden island and drawing deeply from Lovecraftian mythology, The Shore follows a father searching for his missing daughter as he confronts nightmarish entities and uncovers the dark secrets that threaten his sanity.
PlayStation® 5 Pro Enhanced
On PlayStation® 5 Pro, Necrophosis: Full Consciousness takes full advantage of the hardware with PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) and Ray Traced Global Illumination powered by Lumen, delivering richer light bouncing, deeper colour bleed and enhanced volumetric fog across every decaying landscape.
